Finding a safe haven within music
I have been a singer/songwriter since the age of 14. Music has always been a safe haven for me and a way of escaping my reality when times get tough. Going into the industry i have experienced being rejected, being told who i should be and what i should be doing. I encountered a lot of false promises being made to me, however that never stopped me, i never compromised what i believed in for myself. I continued to pursue music, whilst studying all the way up to a masters degree and working part time to continue funding my dreams and most importantly gaining an education. Being a superwomen means being strong at times when you think your going to crack under pressure, and i believe i define what it means to be a superwomen, like many others out there fighting for their dreams.
